The Office of Outreach Programs has primary responsibility for coordinating non-credit learning opportunities for members of the Richmond metropolitan community. These opportunities include The Commonwealth Society, a program for adults of all ages that features short courses, lecture series, and domestic and international travel. The department is also responsible for coordination and management of the Summer Discovery program, a series of open-enrollment enrichment classes for middle school students.
